Introduction

Our report on Avellino's Italian Restaurant will cover the different information systems that the company uses to effectively manage the day to day operations. A series of interviews and observations will be conducted in order to properly dissect the business's process and how they can be improved using the topic we have cover in our Management Information Systems course.

Avellino's opened it's doors in 1987 in Green Brook, NJ. A few years ago they made the strategic decision to relocate and expand the business. Now they are located in Dunellen, NJ. They have also expanded from a pizzeria and grill to a restaurant & bar, staying true to their roots. This expansion allows Avellino's to appeal to a larger group of consumers.
